Nov. 7–9, 2025
SYNC: Sound and Image Conference is a three-day event from November 7–9, 2025 at Studio Bell, National Music Centre. Designed to catalyze Alberta’s creative economy, SYNC brings together artists, producers, and enthusiasts across music, film, and visual arts for a weekend of collaboration, skill-building, and community connection.
Workshops will cover topics such as film, projection mapping, sustainable practices, and electronic music performance—equipping participants with tools to create competitive and innovative work. Evening performances on Friday and Saturday showcase Alberta-based talent alongside national and international acts, offering artists high-profile platforms to gain exposure and grow professionally.
Two mixers deepen the collaborative energy: a Studio Social-style listening party on Friday, and the Open HDMI jam on Saturday, where musicians and visual artists can exhibit their own works and connect. On Sunday, a Live Electronic Open Mic invites emerging creators to participate and share their work.
SYNC is intentionally designed to break down silos, spark new partnerships, and drive long-term impact.
Key Impact Area: Professional development, industry networking, global exposure for Alberta artists.
