The Electric Highway is an annual music and arts festival in Calgary. (Formerly the 420 Music and Arts Festival.) The festival is a celebration featuring Stoner Rock, Desert Rock, Psychedelic, Heavy Blues, Doom & Sludge Metal bands from Canada, the US and around the world. Besides all the rad music, festival attendees will have the opportunity to view and purchase the work of select local artists, artisans, and craftsmen at The Electric Highway Expo.
2020 was to be the festival’s fourth year and first under the new name. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, the 2020 edition of the Festival did not occur. The Electric Highway will take place in Calgary in 2023 at Dickens in downtown Calgary from March 23 – 25. Tickets go on Sale on January 25, 2023 at 10am MT.
